Candidate Mentor Program
The formal interview process begins at approximately week 14 and above in any one of our sessions. But the timing regarding the hiring needs of the manager may not coincide with that sequence.
The PrepMD Mentor Program is designed to provide managers with access and time to early-on evaluate the "fit" of the any candidate within a session.
The PrepMD Mentor Program is a tool that PrepMD offers hiring managers, prior to the start of the formal interview process, to engage prospective new hires from each session’s cohort of candidates in order to sort out candidate "fit".
The Mentor Program generally initiates following candidate identification during a COMPASS Event. A Mentor Program initiative could include the following elements:
- candidate assessment through routine phone calls
- hiring manager “directed" coursework
- feedback on progress
- early field ride access
PrepMD co-founders work with the hiring manager to design a Mentor Program applicable to the candidates of interest and specific to the needs of the manager as she works through the decision-making process in determining candidate "fit".
